Terms & Conditions
Effective 13 October 2026
These terms cover the PulseIndexer website and its public search API (together, "PulseIndexer"), operated by BJP Studio ("we", "us"). They don't cover our mobile apps, PulseReader and PulseListener, which have their own terms.
By using PulseIndexer you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use PulseIndexer.
1. Using PulseIndexer
PulseIndexer is a free directory for finding RSS feeds and podcasts. You don't need an account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher, to use it. You must also be allowed to use it under the laws that apply to you.
2. Third-party content
PulseIndexer lists feeds, podcasts and websites published by other people. Their names, descriptions, artwork and logos belong to their owners. We show them only to help you find and identify those sources.
- We don't own, control or endorse the sources we list, and we aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
- Listings are gathered automatically and may be out of date or inaccurate. Please check anything important with the original source.
- When you follow a link to a third-party site or feed, that site's own terms apply.
If you own a feed or podcast and want its listing corrected or removed, email [email protected]. Tell us which listing it is and how you're connected to it.
3. Public API
You're welcome to use the PulseIndexer API in your own apps and services, including commercial ones, as long as you follow these terms. If we issue you an API key, keep it confidential. You're responsible for all use of your key.
We may limit how many requests you can make, change or retire API endpoints, and suspend or revoke keys or access that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk. We will try to give reasonable notice of major changes where we can.
4. Acceptable use
When you use the website or the API, you agree not to:
- get around rate limits, access controls or other protections, for example by rotating IP addresses or sharing API keys
- copy or harvest the index in bulk to recreate or republish it as a competing directory
- send traffic that overloads or disrupts the service, or probe, scan or test it for vulnerabilities without our written permission
- use PulseIndexer for anything unlawful, or to distribute malware, spam or phishing
- send spam, abusive or misleading messages through the contact form
- click on, or cause clicks or impressions on, ads artificially, for example with bots or click schemes
- suggest that we endorse or are affiliated with your product without our permission
5. Advertising
PulseIndexer is supported by ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties, and we aren't responsible for advertisers' products, services or websites. Our Privacy Policy explains how ad cookies work and how to opt out of personalised ads.
6. Intellectual property
The PulseIndexer name, logo, website design, code, and the way the index is compiled and organised belong to BJP Studio. These terms don't give you any right to use our name, logo or branding. Third-party names and trademarks shown in listings belong to their owners.
7. Reporting illegal content
If you believe something on PulseIndexer is illegal or infringes your rights, including copyright, email [email protected]. Please include:
- the page or listing you are reporting
- why you believe it is illegal or infringing
- your name and email address
- a statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith
We will acknowledge your report, review it without undue delay, and tell you what we decided. If we remove or restrict a listing, the affected owner can contact us at the same address to ask for a review. This address is also our single point of contact for authorities and users under the EU Digital Services Act.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep PulseIndexer running well, but we don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or secure. We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, including features, listings and the API.
9. Disclaimer
PulseIndexer is provided free of charge "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. This includes lost profits, lost data and business interruption arising from your use of PulseIndexer or your reliance on information from third-party sources. Because PulseIndexer is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to the minimum amount the law allows.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.
11. Indemnification
To the extent the law allows, you agree to indemnify BJP Studio against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs that arise from your breach of these terms or your misuse of PulseIndexer, including the API. This doesn't apply to claims caused by our own negligence or breach of these terms.
12. Suspension and termination
We may block or suspend your access to PulseIndexer, including revoking API keys, if you break these terms, break the law, or put the service or other users at risk. Where it's reasonable and safe to do so, we will tell you why.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where BJP Studio is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This doesn't remove any protection you have under mandatory consumer laws where you live, or your right to bring a claim in a court that is competent under those laws.
14. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, it will be changed only as much as needed to make it enforceable, and the rest stays in effect. These terms and our Privacy Policy together form the whole agreement between you and us about PulseIndexer. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we haven't waived it.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Continuing to use PulseIndexer after a change means you accept the updated terms. Previous versions are available on request.
16. Contact
For questions about these terms, email [email protected].
